Eight_OneTwo Architects were approached by Kirklees Council’s regeneration team to provide concept designs and hand-drawn sketches that will help to form a design brief for a new, high-quality shop front design.
By paying homage to the Victorian listed buildings in the local area, we created a number of design principles that will allow for seamless style repetition throughout the street. The proposed shop front will complement existing buildings, whilst providing harmony and a sense of order that is currently missing.
Detailed design, planning applications and listed consents are currently ongoing in this high-profile project.
