Proposed green oak extension to a listed farmhouse in Cawthorne, Barnsley. Flash House Farm dates back to 1698 and is located in a greenbelt area. The extension is designed to be intentionally understated from the principal elevation within a mono pitch roof.
To achieve the client's brief, the proposed extension will feature stonework, a single timber frame and an expertly designed façade to match the rhythm and form of the property. The green oak extension will have large amounts of glazing and allow for easy access to newly designed rear garden spaces.
